Brian Landis provides an opinion of market value, as of a specified effective date, which is documented on a Uniform Agricultural Appraisal Report form report which can be utilized for the following intended uses:
- Agricultural property secured lending or loan servicing
- Estate taxes and estate settlement
- Estate planning or succession planning
- Establish IRS tax basis, both current value and historic value
- Market Intelligence for the selling or buying of agricultural properties
- Property exchange or property division
Appraisal fees are determined and communicated to the client before the project is started and will remain firm unless we determine during the preliminary research of the subject property that the project is substantially more complex than was represented by the client. In such an event, the appraisal fee will be renegotiated with the client before proceeding or the client will be allowed to withdraw the appraisal request at no cost.
